A new online course combining evidence-based fertility education with Traditional Chinese Medicine
If you have ever left a fertility appointment with more questions than answers, spent hours trying to make sense of conflicting information online, or wished someone would just explain what is actually happening in your body — this course was built for you.
I am delighted to announce the launch of The Fertility Blueprint — Women’s Edition, a comprehensive online course that brings together the best of biomedical science and Traditional Chinese Medicine to give you the education that most women navigating a fertility journey never receive.
Why I Built This Course
In clinical practice, I see the same patterns repeatedly.
Women who have been given a diagnosis — PCOS, endometriosis, low AMH, unexplained infertility — but who have never had it properly explained to them. Women who have been handed a test result by text message and left to Google what it means. Women who are taking a long list of supplements because someone in a forum recommended them, without any idea whether the evidence supports them or whether the dose and form are correct.
And women who are working with brilliant fertility consultants but who feel that something is missing — a deeper understanding of what is driving their picture, and what they can actively do to support their health in the months that matter most.
The Fertility Blueprint — Women’s Edition is my answer to all of that.
What Is Inside the Course
The course is built across twelve modules covering the full fertility picture — from the foundations of how the female reproductive system works, through to investigations, assisted reproduction and your personalised action plan.
The biomedical content covers how your hormones and menstrual cycle actually work, the common conditions most likely to affect fertility — including PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid disorders and diminished ovarian reserve — and a thorough module on investigations, understanding your test results, and how to advocate effectively for yourself within the medical system. There is dedicated content on recurrent pregnancy loss, reproductive immunology, IUI and IVF — including an honest look at clinic add-ons and what the evidence actually supports.
The nutrition and lifestyle content is evidence-based throughout. Every recommendation is rated for the strength of research behind it, sources are named, and nothing is overclaimed. We cover the Mediterranean diet, blood sugar balance, the gut and reproductive microbiome, supplements — form, dose and UK regulatory status included — sleep, exercise, stress and the nervous system, and environmental toxins and endocrine disruption.
The Traditional Chinese Medicine content is where this course goes somewhere most fertility education does not.
The Integrative Approach — Why Both Frameworks Matter
I have practised acupuncture and Chinese medicine for many years, and one of the things I find most clinically valuable is the way TCM and biomedical medicine describe the same territory through different languages.
A woman with PCOS and insulin resistance has, in TCM terms, a pattern of Phlegm-Damp and Kidney Yang deficiency. Those are not vague or mystical concepts — they are precise clinical descriptions of a functional imbalance that points directly to a treatment approach. Understanding both frameworks does not create confusion. It creates a richer and more complete picture.
The course dedicates three full modules to TCM — the foundational concepts of Qi, Blood, Yin, Yang and the Kidney system; pattern differentiation in female fertility; and phase-based treatment across the menstrual cycle. These are presented clearly, with the important distinction between TCM organ systems and their anatomical counterparts explained from the outset. The TCM content is integrated throughout the course, not bolted on as an afterthought.
The consistent message is that a TCM practitioner and a fertility specialist are not alternatives to each other. They are complementary members of the same care team, working toward the same goal from different angles.
The Masterclass Library
Alongside the twelve core modules, the course includes a growing Masterclass Library — focused deep dives into specific topics that go beyond what the core content covers.
The first two masterclasses are available now.
Masterclass 01 — AMH: Myths, Evidence and Clinical Use addresses one of the most misused tests in fertility medicine. Women are regularly frightened by AMH results that have been presented without context or clinical nuance. This masterclass covers what AMH actually measures, what the research shows it can and cannot predict, why a single result is not the final word, and what to do if your result is low. It is probably the most immediately useful piece of content in the entire library for women who have received a concerning result.
Masterclass 02 — The Two-Week Wait covers the biology, the practicalities and the emotional reality of the post-transfer and post-ovulation waiting period. What is actually happening in your body, why symptoms cannot tell you whether implantation has occurred, when and how to test reliably, and how to get through those two weeks with as much calm and clarity as possible.
New masterclasses are added regularly, going deeper into specific conditions, investigations and emerging areas of research. The library grows in response to what the community most needs — and if there is a topic you would like covered, you are always welcome to post a request in the community or get in touch with me directly.
Who This Course Is For
The Fertility Blueprint — Women’s Edition is for any woman who wants to understand her reproductive health more deeply — whether she is just beginning to think about fertility, navigating a diagnosis, preparing for IVF, or trying to make sense of investigations that have not yet given her clear answers.
It is not a course that asks you to choose between conventional medicine and integrative care. It asks you to understand both — because that is the strongest position available.
The content is evidence-based, honestly presented and designed for a general audience. You do not need any medical or scientific background. You do need to be willing to engage seriously with your own health — which, if you are reading this, you almost certainly already are.
A Note on How the Course Works
The course is hosted on Skool, an online learning platform with a built-in community. Each module is accessed by clicking the link within the module post. Every slide has accompanying narration that walks you through the content clearly and conversationally — audio can be turned on or off. Each module ends with key takeaways and a list of practical action steps.
There is no fixed schedule and no deadline. Work at your own pace, dip into the modules most relevant to your situation right now, and return to others as your journey develops.
